The Museum of Flight
The Museum of Flight is a non-profit, educational institution showcasing the art and science of flight. It’s filled with aircrafts, flight simulators, and space artifacts. Visitors can explore the history of flight, the science of flight, and the impacts of the aviation industry. It is the largest private air and space museum in the world, with 150 aircrafts and spacecrafts on display. The Museum of Flight is located on the south end of King County by Boeing Field. The Museum's collection includes vintage aircrafts and spacecrafts, from the first fighter plane (1914) to today's 787 Dreamliner. It also is home to the original Boeing factory, which is now called “The Red Barn.” You can see the history of flight in the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, and France. There are great exhibits on aviation, space, and science. The Museum of Flight has Largest Collection of Aviation Art in the World. It has the most extensive Space Collection, including the Space Shuttle Trainer, Interactive Space Lab, and International Space Station Exhibit.
